I am a freelance writer and student living in New Farm, Brisbane who writes for Scene Magazine, 4zzz, AAA Backstage and myself, of course. I guess I also write for QUT. It has been second home since 2011 when I commenced my Bachelor's Degree in Creative and Professional Writing. You can find me here late at night on the weekdays furiously working on my assignments and my creative writing.
I am currently completing an Honours Degree in Creative Writing and Literary Studies at QUT, focusing on Gothic Literature, Postmodern Literature and Reader Response Theory. I am an academic/literary nerd and hope to find loopholes to keep extending my university education and to also convince the Vice Chancellor of QUT to pay me to stay here with scholarship top-ups. So far, so good.
I do most of my freelance journalism work in my spare time, sometimes to get some money too (yes, I do like money). I work at the AAA Backstage headquarters during the week, helping to manage the website and contributing content. This blog features pieces of writing published by a variety of sources I list in every article. I don't think my 15, 000 word thesis would fit on the Blogger format, unfortunately.
